Hi, so glad to meet you!

I am a Pacific Northwest artist living in the Seattle area with a focus in pencil and watercolor. My years of creating art began before I was old enough to even remember, and although I chose to forego a formal education in art to pursue a career as a surgical nurse, I continued to draw and paint on my own. Since the pandemic, I’ve slowly built up a small business around my art, and in the past year, made the decision to put my nursing career on hold to focus on my business and creative practice and make more time for our newest family member, born on June 12th!

My work is inspired by my love of the outdoors, the healing power of nature, and the human journey of finding connectedness in the world. Beyond the joy of exploring the creative process, I aim to help people feel seen, recognize the beauty of the natural world, and discover meaningful connections to nature, to each other, and to themselves. I hope to reflect these values through a business model that focuses on sustainability, accessibility, and the support of environmental conservation and social justice.

I am honored that you have chosen to explore and engage, to some degree, with my creative journey, and to those who have helped me to get where I am, thank you from the bottom of my heart!

All the best, Jodi

Outside of art, I enjoy hiking, climbing, yoga, Latin social dancing, and spending time with my wonderfully supportive husband, my baby girl, and our two adorable kitties, Miso and Mochi.
